BOWLING!

Since we had five Wednesdays this month - we decided we would take the girls out bowling. Oh what fun we had. Not all of the girls were able to go, but the ones that did - had a great time -see pictures below!
Our newest members, Sarah, Kayla (friend), and Jessica!

Alysha thinks this is the best way to bowl!

As you can see from the pictures below, the adults had just as much fun. Thanks Mrs. Marilyn, Mrs. Theresa, Mrs. Jenny, Mrs. Sharon and Mrs. Denise! We all had a great time. Oh, and just to let you know, Mrs. Sharon came in second on her team!

Some more Volleyball

Although we were not the best team in the league - we had a great time getting to play volleyball. We are looking forward to next year and will be practicing during the summer - so watch out - we will be better competition next March!

Amber home for the week and we put her to work to take care of the kids!

Thanks for allowing us to play! It was a great time!

Caregivers

We are blessed by some of the best caretakers for our TeenMops Moppets! Becky and Wanda help us out each Wednesday by watching the babies. Next week - we will have some pictures of the ladies who take care of our older ones!

Here is Mrs. Denise who is holding one of the newest moppets to our group. Next week will be his first time in the nursery.

Ashleigh is always helping us out - with her sisters and brother, her cousins or even the TeenMops children. Thanks a bunch!

Elaine, Alysha and Mrs. Denise - always trying to have some type of fun!

Taylor and Alysha did not want to take this picture - but the height difference - it just had to be done. We want to thank Taylor as well for all the help she give us in TeenMops!

Mrs. Marilyn taking care of Noah while his mom gets to eat her supper!

Mrs. Sharon even needed some baby time! TeenMops could not be with out the help of all these ladies - but Mrs. Sharon - well, she is the true blessing. We thank you for all your hard work, time and dedication. We love you!

Scrapbooking!

It was scrapbooking last night and once again we had a good crowd. Sarah and Jessica joined us again and this time brought Jayden and Tanner with them. Both were too cute for words!! While everyone was busy cropping their pictures and arranging them "just so", Denise was busy snapping pictures to put on the blog. Some people were more agreeable than others in having their pictures made.

Karen Jones

Another good night was spent listening and discussing discipline with Karen Jones. Everyone was very open and we had some really good points brought out. One thing that was brought up that we as moms all need to remember is that every child is special and different. What works for one won't necessarily work for another.

Dr. Jones

Dr. Jones was an awesome speaker. She talked to the girls about general baby care. The time flew by before we realized it. There were so many questions that needed answering and Dr. Jones was so patient to answer them all.

April 2, 2008

In spite of the small group, we did have a good meeting. Calvin Couch came and taught the girls some defense moves. A couple of the girls really got into it - made me glad I was their friend. Hannah showed us just how tough she can be. Calvin gave us many tips on how to defend ourselves. I was amazed at how many different pressure points and quick moves we learned. Hopefully, we will keep practicing and be ready for whatever comes our way.
