Harry The Potter

We took the girls to "Harry the Potter today. This was a lot of fun.

I think all the girls had a great time.

Afterwards, we went to eat at "Cheddars" YUMMY!!!!

Reality Fair

We had a great time tonight. We gave the girls a job and salary tonight!

They went through different tables to purchase a house, car, insurance,

cell phone, groceries and other items. We were trying to teach them the

reality in the cost of living today.

Parenting Class

Our guest speaker was unable to come tonight, so we had Game Night Instead!

We played Bunco - most of the girls thought this was an Old Folks Game!

OOPS - NO CPR - JUST FUN

Unfortunately tonight our CPR Teacher was unable to make it, but will be here on August 26th, so please plan to come that night! We still had a good time together. Mrs. Jenny helped us play a game where we got to know something about each other that we had in common....all have children....all wore the color blue.... and much more.. Mrs. Tronnie had a craft ready for us, so we all got to make bookmarks with foam stickers!

We are so proud of Anna, Tabatha, Kayla & Bethany
Anna and Kayla graduated high school this summer
and Tabatha and Bethany got their GED
(Bethany was unable to be with us tonight)
So we help them celebrate and ate cookie cakes!

CPR Tonight!

We begin our first meeting tonight with supper at 5:00!

Menu is: Chicken Fried Steak, Rice & Gravy, Fried Okra, Black Eyed Peas, Rolls, Salad

& Homemade Peach Cobbler! YUMMY!

We will be getting CPR Certification so you won't want to miss it!

TeenMOPS & The Mens Factor Begins this Wednesday

TeenMOPS and The Men's Factor meet every Wednesday at Parkway Baptist Church.

We eat supper together from 5 to 5:30 pm. Then the children are taken to child care and the different groups begin their own time together. This coming up Wednesday however, we will stay together and learn CPR. If you know a teenage mom or dad and would like some more information, please call the church at 601-924-9912.

2nd Annual TeenMOPS & POPS Day

A new year at TeenMOPS was officially kicked off Saturday, August 8th,

with our second annual TeenMOPS and POPS Day.

We had 14 moms and 4 dads participate. We started at 9 am and didn't finish up until 3 pm.
The speakers (Bill and Cindy Townsend) were phenomenal. They have an incredible way of ministering to our teens right where they are. We ended the day with some team building games lead by Jerry Jackson that not only had us all in stitches but empathized team work.
