Decorating Cakes with Sylvia Jones

We had a really good time with Sylvia Jones. She came with 11 cakes in tow and showed us how to decorate them. We got to have our cake and eat it too!! Between the laughter and the jokes, some hidden talent was revealed. Look at how great our cakes came out.

Elaine brought us Alysha and her sister

Ashley went to Memphis over the weekend to ref soccer games. When she got home, she found out that Emily had broken her leg while sliding down on a blow up slide. Unfortunately, Emily cannot put any pressure on it, so as you can see, she is getting a lot of attention from her mom, as well as everyone else.

What a blessing last night was!! Marilyn shared her sewing skills and we got to celebrate Elaine's birthday. Marilyn had each girl sewing up a hem and fastening on a button. They did so much better than I (Sharon) ever could. Way to go girls. I will be bringing my mending to you soon.

A special friend to Elaine surprised her with a birthday cake. After singing "Happy Birthday", we all got to eat cake. To top off the meeting, we had two new moms join us, Tori and Alie.
